The Mt. Olives Seventh-day Adventist Church is a member congregation of the worldwide faith community of Christians known as Seventh-day Adventists. Located in Kamuli – Lubawo zone of Kyambogo, Kampala district, the church has been serving her members and community since her birth in 2009; espousing a ministry that does not recognize distinctions of race, class, or national origin.

We Believe That

Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We consider our movement to be the result of the Protestant conviction Sola Scriptura—the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice for Christians.

Currently, Adventists hold 28 fundamental beliefs that can be organized into six categories—the doctrines of God, man, salvation, the church, the Christian life and last day events. In each teaching, God is the architect, who in wisdom, grace and infinite love, is restoring a relationship with humanity that will last for eternity.

Salvation is ours through faith, and it is made possible by Gods grace, and the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Saturday, the seventh day of the week, is the Sabbath of our Lord. The Second Coming of Christ is literal and near. Christ is now in the Most Holy Place of the Heavenly Sanctuary, where He is making intercession for mankind.

Study, Assimilation, & Practice of Beliefs

The study, assimilation, and practice of our beliefs are evidenced by a disciplined lifestyle, which emphasizes worship, and stewardship of time, resources, and body. The fulfillment of the mission our Church will result in an improved quality of life for our members as well as the community. In addition, Mt. Olives Seventh-day Adventist Church, Naalya will be a spiritual, growing church, preparing to meet God.
